V1 nougat version works great at my z flashed with the janjan 7.0 rom + phh root. Cpu idle frequency i can lower it to 307MHz now, will check if it can help battery life. Thanks

I think I found the stuttering root cause. Go to settings>accessibility>moto actions accessibility>turn off, and it will return smooth like 6.0 Don't know what this setting for but I think 7.0 will enable it by default, and it made the screen stuttering

Is this 7.0 rom fixed the 7.0 screen stuttering issue?

Same as mine, the screen stuttering issue is very bad experience, when can it solve...

So any battery saving experience when you lower the minimum CPU speed to 300MHz? Is it really running at 300MHz instead of 652MHz?

If I use this kernel, can I set the screen-on idle CPU frequency at the minimum 307MHz to get more battery life? Currently the Moto z is running at 652MHz on most of the time.

Factory reset can not fix my issue, I think it is the bug of the aug security update, do any one know how to fix it?

The battery is not draining during screen off, it is draining and heating very fast and when it is screen on. I will try factory reset first and let u guys know if it helps.

i just found that KC can not lock the CPU setting... i set lock to 2 max cpu core active, then i exit KC. I reopen KC, i see the 4 CPUs is still running.... And 1 more problem in KC. If i apply CPU setting on boot, it will have problem like Max frequecy and Min frequecy are both 384 MHz after...
