Did you format data partition before flashing?

Still trying to figure out how to change system to RW even if its only temporary so i can get Adaway to install hosts and fire up chroot on kali nethunter. I am on Lineage 16-karatep. rooted with Magisk. I have tried TRWP,adb shell and a couple of file and root explorers...all to no avail...

If you followed the procedure I indicated, to the letter you should have no problem sir. If it's not working maybe you are doing something wrong....I would suggest you check your procedure again

anyone figured how to mount system RW? I am getting a mount error when i try using Link2sd....tried to convert user apps to system manually but getting lots of bootloops....bootloop while recovering from EDL mode...whole host of issues. Love it but too buggy karatep

wiko lenny is so boring i guess wiko Lenny is not as good a phone as i thought when i got it would have loved to do so many things the limitations are absolutely inflexible....i got the same error while trying to get CWM recovery via mtk Droid tool and tried the philz recovery via pc and it did...

I have just flashed Calvin touch recovery(UBIFS)onto my other smartphone using MTK droid tools...so the premise that you cannot flash things with it isn't exactly true. Works like a dream,and the touch interface is just awesome!! Still no luck with my Lenny though ---------- Post added at 02:56...

I tried to flash cwm using mtk droids tool on to my Lenny but I am met with two errors; No find kernelGZ and No find split boot image. Can anyone in the know please help me resolve this as I would very much like to experiment with different custom ROMs

I bought wiko Lenny about a month ago and since then I have tried to root with kingo and a couple of other app,unsuccessful at that. Can anyone please help shed light on this? Cant seem to find anything on the web about this phone now am wondering why I got it in the first place:(
