Ironically a lot of expensive proprietary headphones come from the apple store and don't support aptX or LDAC. Having SBC XQ would allow, for example, Bose headphones that only support regular SBC and AAC to sound better on Android. If anything it would increase sales of expensive headphones...

If anyone decides to make a patch that turns off aptX might as well turn off AAC too. This way, when a device connects, it will use only SBC-XQ, aptXHD, or LDAC.

Bootloop for me too on LineageOS 16 (Moto Z2 Force).. fixed by disabling Magisk in TWRP

Curious to know about this as well. I'm having trouble with basic functions like pairing an 8bitDo controller via bluetooth.

I figured it out I had to fix my slot B's bootloader. I still don't quite understand what happens when you flash things, or when it changes slot, but I got it to work for now.

I discovered the problem, I somehow corrupted my fastboot slot_b loader, so everytime it went into slot b it bricked. I would need to wipe and reload all of slot b I think for everything to work again.

Everytime I flash a custom rom in TWRP I have to reset my phone completely, it doesn't power on at all anymore. I fix it by using qboot which gets me back into fastboot, and then I start over by flashing a stock firmware with flashall.bat. I'm able to boot into twrp via fastboot, but everytime...

I mean as soon as a I reboot after flashing DU + TWRP (again) it doesn't power on anymore and I'm qualcomm COMM6 mode. I h ave to use qboot to get back into the bootloader

I always get stuck at step C -> 5. After flashing my DU Rom and TWRP zip, I reboot to the bootloader and it's dead. Then I have to use qboot blank-flash to start over. I didn't flash anything "twice" because I didn't understand that part of the guide

I performed the unlocking steps in this thread , that involve deleting the modem, then I did a speedtest but I only get 30mbits (was getting 100mbit with Moto Z first edition). Did LTE+ get disabled somehow? Do I have to flash a new modem?

Has anyone compared LTE perfmance vs stock 7.1? The signal bars are moving up and down wildly for me it would be nice to modify how the bars appear , if the signal strength turns out to be the same as 7.1 & just showing incorrectly. Or, should I be flashing a new radio?

I cracked my camera's glass when I dropped the phone and now it doesn't take good pictures anymore, even with the glass completely removed. They come out blurry and can't seem to focus properly. The front facing shooter works fine what happened?

Thanks! Mine was blocked because I installed a root Notification blocker and forgot to whitelist the "Phone" app.

Perhaps its a hardware issue with the Stock rom as well. Or maybe a TurboZ Issue? I've no idea. I'm just a little worried that it will get worse and I'll have to RMA it ;(

which Rom has aptx working? I'm on lineage nightly but it keeps using bluetooth sbc and the modules to enable it don't have any effect like the did on the nexus 5/5X EDIT: I removed lineageOS because APTX didn't work. I'm on a stock-ish rom now and it works. Resolved.

It looks like the aptxHD patch has worked for me on my Nexus 4 and Nexus 5.

I flashed aptx.zip from the first post, and it worked without error. however in catlog I found no mention of codecs of any type. however, I do have pure nexus 7.1.1 on my 5x and not CM14.

I had the same issue with my Moto G 2013 XT1032 today. The network unlock wouldn't work, it was stuck at requesting network unlock for 20 mins. I had to revert to stock, then it worked.

Is it possible to port the Native Name ID Display from Rogers devices, maybe make a flashable zip that can be ported to Nexus phones?
