For the record, if you can demonstrate that the issue is hardware (which you're describing), you've still a fair chance at getting warranty coverage as long as you politely but firmly stick to your guns. Don't give up too easily!

It hasn't worked for me since I moved to LineageOS. Looking back, I came on board on 02/24. I *think* I started with 170217, but I'm not sure. Have tried 170301 and 170306 with same issue.
