Well if you've been playing with ROMs, it's most likely because the ROM on the backup is different than on the phone and they aren't compatible. I think this is why custom ROMs don't have cab updateability, of which backups are cabs. As far as I know, there isn't a solution =/ Good luck though!

Go into messaging settings and there are options on SMS delivery confirmation and MMS delivery and received confirmation. You probably have SMS delivery confirmation on right now

The same exact thing happened to me! I found the only thing I could do was restore to the nearest backup in Zune and start from there. I don't know if this would work (since it won't even open on my computer), but try using WMDC to change the registry. My phone would just go in a reboot cycle...

I hear there's an update available from HTC via Zune. Can someone try to update to this? I'm assuming an AT&T based ROM would update whereas a custom ROM like DFT or ultrashot's wouldn't. Thanks!

The ones in the first post work I think. At least I don't see why they wouldn't. Flash it like a custom ROM. Its easiest to use AdvacedRUU.exe, which you can find later in the Titan Development section. Just put the .exe in the same folder as the .nbh of the ROM you're flashing and from there...

I think I found the problem... I kept using Connection Setup to reconfigure my network because it seemed like it would temporarily fix my low signal issue. I'm pretty sure that's what reset it every time. I had been doing it on a regular basis too, so that's why it reset so often. Sorry about...

To be safe, I would flash the stock ROM at least. It works with HSPL. But it's not necessary. They probably wouldn't notice, or they would after they send you the replacement phone :P

I do get a better signal with this radio, but some messages won't send even with 1 "4g" bar... With the EU radio, I had a lower signal but messages sent when I had no bars

The start screen isn't the only update in 7.8; its just the only one we KNOW about. Microsoft didn't completely release WP7.8 to the public because they aren't done with it. So don't jump to conclusions because you might just be happy with what's in the update.

What radio version do you have now? Because unless you have flashed the 17 radio, your phone shouldn't have it. So you probably just had the 16 radio already and therefore didn't need to flash it again. I tried flashing the 17 radio with the 1.21 ROM and it wouldn't boot.. I like the 17 radio better

Just wanna say with the 17 radio, I found a signal increase, opposite from everyone else. And it shows when you have 0 bars and messages will still send like that. The only problem I found was the grip of death. Losing about 2 bars in my house which rarely has more than 2 at max. A fix for that...

Yes you do need to install SPL 2.5 using GoldCard. Only the European Titans seem to flash without GoldCard. The SPL was probably derived from te Europe version. Good luck!

I didn't want to give every app access to my phone so I installed Ultrashot's ROM. It has a root manager application to choose which apps have root access. Since you're gonna reflash anyways, I suggest trying Ultrashot's. I think it has more features than the DFT ROM, but you can decide that...

go to the Root Manager application and turn on the slider next to Bazaar. This ROM is smart and doesn't allow every application Root Access. So for every new homebrew (or updated, for that matter) app must be turned on in the Root Manager application if it requires Root privileges. Good luck!

I have the Dynamics ROM and all I can say is that I love it!! It provides a full unlock so yes, you can install Bazaar, DFT Bluetooth File Transfer, lockWidgets, everything. It provides a full unlock and the Tango ROM. I definitely suggest downloading it and flashing. Great ROM! Good luck!

I flashed the SPL 2.6 from the HTC website too, but I have a custom ROM on my phone right now. Make sure you try all cable configurations on the GoldCard method. I had to use one that wasn't the same as the picture to get it to work. And also make sure you have the right kind of SD card or Flash...
