I realize it's been a while since you posted, but you might try using an old soldering iron, and a bit of ABS plastic to weld the cracks up. You could also mix some acetone with ABS plastic bits into a jelly type consistency, then spread it over the cracks...

I am running an Energy ROM, and can still get weather updates. But without a sim card, I can only get one city via wifi?? [edit] Weather Underground app still works!

I'm going to guess 256+32=288. But, I don't know enough about the circuit board to tell you if they used two chips or not.

Thank you for researching this. I had to pull my Tilt2 out of retirement when my M8 tanked on a WM10 build. Was able to revive it, but now that I've got the Tilt out, I plan to at least catch it up on things...

Yes, I know. But I figured someone out there might be looking for a ROM. You can never tell... That said, I have done that before and didn't realize the time lapse.

Just wanted to add that I purchased a PNY 32GB micro sd card and it works just fine in the Tilt 2 w/Energy ROM, formatted FAT32. I think it is class 10 as well.

Redpoint lists some good advice. I spent two weeks in Europe about 3 years ago, and had international roaming enabled on my Tilt (HTC 8925). It worked fine; came in handy when I ended up missing some flights due to delays. But the rates are certainly higher. I ended up with a phone bill...

When I unlocked my AT&T Tilt, it worked just the same as it did before. No change in operations. To be on the safe side, back up your phone before you do the job, and if it has an sd card I'd pull it out...

I tried using these settings with an ATT Tilt 2/Rhodium and an LTE sim From an iPhone 5. I was able to get the phone and texting to work but not data. I was at a loss until I read this post on the android central forum where the data plans are not compatible...

I just want a reminder thing that actually reminds me. Any suggestions? The installed calendar fails miserably in this respect. I added Calendar Event to the phone, and that doesn't fit the bill either. I downloaded COL reminder, but it seems I need to load them all into the program, instead...

@Marty, how long was your battery lasting prior to the "Extreme Makeover"? Mine currently will last me 2 days. Admittedly, I've not loaded a lot of stuff on the phone yet, and I have the power saver mode start at 70%...but I only need to recharge every other day.

I found it odd as I was browsing my device via QuickOffice, that it lists sd card, and when I tap that, I get a list of folders and my external sd card. Does anyone know if the Glide uses a micro-sd card for its internal memory?

I have used spl 3.29 and radio 1.70 Inex and 1.65.21.18. The 65 radio seems to work a little better for me where I work. [edit] Nino, I'm reinstalling the ROM now. I missed some of the features...like PocketSands, Google Maps that works, the contacts slide, etc. I'll run it tomorrow and see...

Reggie, congrats! Javin, I cannot recall about the GPS function. I use a 1.65.21.18 radio. i've gone back to Athine's 6.1 for some comparison, and I've noticed the Google Maps functions poorly. Not sure if that is radio driven or OS driven... Now the QuickGPS program does update, if that helps.

I agree. I have only tried the 6.1, which I like quite well. If I get tired of the 6.1, I will give this one a spin.

I have a Tilt still and am curious to see what you think! I've been contemplating upgrading either to an LG Fathom, LG eXpo, or maybe a Quantum. However, the Samsung Captivate Glide was just announced, so maybe that's what I'll try... I wonder if it is worth getting a one or two year old brand...

You should look at the flashing ROMs for noobs thread. There is a process for flashing a ROM via microSD card that I think will help you out...

I had no trouble seeing my sd card with v2.2. I did have an issue when trying to put a theme in, but once I went back to original it seemed fine. With the theme though, I got the double icon thing in Programs?!

It seems to be an html link to weather.com, but it does work...

I can do what you indicated for the picture, unless I am using a theme. The themes are all .tsk files, and they keep a picture inside along with changing taskbar/softkey colors and font colors. Small issue really. :eek:Please don't delete the battery icons; they are better than the originals...
