I've tried to install a non-default kernel today and sound was gone again, looks like the me301 sound isn't compatible with the custom roms and the issue is kernel related instead of dps related.

Fixed it by selecting the default musicfx instead of the dsp manager

Same functions and feel as the wp7 version, found no issues with it so far.

Hmm I'm stuck :( I succesfully flashed the SPL, HSPL and rom even the radio says it installed without errors but after flashing the radio and getting back into SPL it still states my old radio "Radio-16.23.03.17" and booting the device doesn't work; keeps displaying the HTC logo but won't boot...

tried it and it works quite well, some parts are still a mockup; like the gallery and SMS but it sure looks promising!

after the first full day of usage: Drain is a bit higher as it was on Villian rom/Stock battery monitor widget is showing ~ 20 / 25 mah drain in 5 minutes instead of 10 but that doesn't mean it's eating up the battery, was at 60% after a day's work with a lot of push mails and the normal syncing...

1 & 2: not 100% sure about the samsung mail app but there are email apps out there that can; like the android stock email app (freeware) 3: yes; android can copy paste; although it depends on the app if you can actually select text :)

It does, just fire it up before you start poweramp; For me the tone/eq in poweramp does a better job then this one but it's always nice to have more options!
