Do I need full wipe and boot.img if I am coming from V1?

I can't update the youtube and gmail apps, it says the package file was not signed correctly uninstall the previous copy of the app and try again. I don't have an option to uninstall these apps, can anyone help?

I am trying to run the unlock again on htcdev, I get through it ok but at the end it tells me the token is too short? anyone ever seen this?

I got the phone charged ok, thanks, but I still can't flash anything, keep getting errors, have tried flashing the cwm recovery and tried unlocking the bootloader but no joy, can anyone point me in the right direction??

Thanks to everyone who replied, I ran out of time to try and recover the situation, the phone is now dead. If I send it back for repair can the engineers get the phone charged?
