That's right... I installed straight on to windows 8, and care suite even updated to the above mentioned version automatically. BUT the phone did not connect with care suite until the software was installed with administrator privs.

This would be done in less than a milisecond. Fact is my old HTC HD7 running nextgen ROM is quicker all round, no lag anywhere.

Settings - System - ringtones and sounds - just untick what you don't want and choose "none" to any email, voicemail, sound alert.

With a massive time lag as well, when I plug in the charger its a good 5 seconds before the software cuts in to show the battery is charging. This phone is supposed to have a 1.4ghz processor in it, but it performs like it is operating on top of a very slow BIOS, and everything it does is laggy...

I think maybe it is time for a new battery...when a battery does not charge to full voltage it is a sure sign of age, or the phone charging circuitry has burned. The ROM has nothing to do with battery capacity.

Yup..it is better to do a Y cable image.. zune backup sucks anyway, I have yet to hear from anyone that has sucessfully reverted bootloader via Zune backup

My HD7 was like yours but ended up flashing the NewTech ROM, there are too many restrictions and not enough features to a stock phone.

The NewTech rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1476058 I flashed my HD7 after downgrading the bootloader from 5.11 is stable and stock feel to it, but has all the kick you need. installing .xaps via internet explorer is good on wifi.

Yes Thank you, I was going nuts trying to figure out this error code thing after Zune mango update. Just delete twitter, Facebook or whatever service you have and live account syncs again.

@SaAIWe The problem is now after 7390 is on your phone, and your phone is relocked for whatever reason...you can not even connect to the phone the usual way from pc...so to flash back is impossible without new 7390 crack
