Post Cell Standby battery drain fix for AT&T

I think you're confused. It's the option that's in the settings accessed by *#0011#. It should be on by default but some people turned it off to see if it fixes wifi issues.

Did you guys make sure that your WiFi Power Saver mode is on? I disabled it and experienced absolutely terrible standby battery life. Turned it back on and fixed the problem.

Post ATT S6 edge screen is scratched/swirled out of the box.

ATT COR stores..... unrealistic expectations for store metrics.... = shady business practices. Why can't these places just go the Apple route and just take of the customer no matter the cost? Even COR stores are slamming insurance on the phones without your knowledge. Upper management in ATT...

Post Will wireless charging put unnecessary wear and tear on my device?

Theoretically the extra heat generated from the induction coil could cause extra degradation to your battery. Quick charging also generates extra heat due to the laws of physics so I think the difference would be very minute.

    Thread Looks like an iPhone?

Why do I keep reading everywhere that the S6 looks like an iPhone? How? The face doesn't look like an iphone, the back doesn't look like an iphone. The only part I understand is the bottom edge, but even then, there are plastic seams on the S6. And if Samsung really did copy the iPhone 6...

Make sure the cable is plugged all the way in to the charging brick. If it's not plugged in all the way, even a few mm, it will charge much slower.

    Thread Pre-installed Facebook slow??

For some reason I cannot get Facebook to load properly. I can add my Facebook account into the accounts settings and get the app to load, but the app itself is super slow. Same thing with instagram. Is this due to the 64 bit software or something?

Post G Watch Impressions and Reviews

Question, are you taking showers with the watch? I ask because I wear the watch every day when I go to the gym, 3 to 4 times a week. I run and sweat a lot, and I have zero corrosion? Seems odd to me that I do not have this issue yet I sweat a lot on my arm while at the gym. You must be showering...

Post Got the G Watch at AT&T for $160

The watch is great. Software is well thought out and the full potential I believe can be really robust. For me too, I've owned a Galaxy Gear and the SW2 and the build quality on the G Watch is really good.

Post Got the G Watch at AT&T for $160

It's dependent on the FAN. Each agreement is different. Some offer equipment discount or accessory discounts, some dont. I would suggest buying the watch and two $5 clearance accessories. Get it all for about $190 out the door.

Post Got the G Watch at AT&T for $160

To get a FAN discount you must be an AT&T subscriber. For any of these discounts it's probably best to just order online as store associates tend to think it's some sort of error. I'm sure AT&T would have closed these loopholes because it's been around since the Gear watches. I just order the G...

Post G Watch Impressions and Reviews

Guys, I think the complaints about poor sunlight visibility are when attempting to read the watch in always on mode (the dimmed watchface). It is pretty much impossible to see in the sun unless you activate the screen.

Post Mini Comparison G3 Screen and Size S5, Note 3

    Post Solution to lag?

I assume the delay that is present in TouchWiz is due to allocated resources for things like smartstay, multiwindow, airview... etc. unfortunately that is a trade off you have to make if you like or want those features. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    Post Solution to lag?

I think the term lag here is being misinterpretted. I think the lag people are talking about is just the normal delay when opening apps or when something is being calculated. In the past, lag has been described as responsiveness of the touch screen, which it is almost zero lag. Scrolling is...

I understand that XDA is probably the worst place as far as OCD cases for phones go. Seems a little too much to be complaining about...

    Post Off-Centre Displays

I'm not going to support a ridiculous complaint. If you're going to complain about that level of detail, then no phone will ever be perfect. Look at the camera lenses under the glass, off centered. Look at the tiny gap between the glass and the chrome bezel, not precisely even all the way...

Seriously comparing a calculator to a cell phone? I work in manufacturing. There is a reason that $2 worth of metal costs $100 when it is formed into an exact size down to .000001 of an inch. Samsung does not have quality controls or manufacturing processes in place to have this amount of...

are you willing to pay $3000 grand for a perfectly symmetrical phone? I'm sure the inexactness of the display falls within quality control parameters.
