my xz premium with pie update does not support the "old" hdr in video (it only support for hdr in photo) or am i missing something ?

i really want to use all the cool camera app that requires full camera2 api compatility (including raw). it does not seem to be here in the pie update, is there a way to get it ? camera2 api is out since lolipop version in 2015 what are you waiting sony, for us all to switch to other brands ?

you are talking about hdr video playback, i am speaking about hdr video capture (but again not in a hdr video codec, just raising details in the shadows and the highlights by combining multiple exposures in a non hdr video codec, exactly what is done in hdr photo and like what you see here ...

i know wm density is just a software parameter so 721 is also fine but if you do the maths the exact hardware dpi is 807

wm size to 2160x3840 and then change display size in Settings did not work for me (build 47.1.a.8.49), it still crashes the default dialer. the only thing that worked was wm size 1890x3360 but it is only 6mpix and not 8mpix resolution plus it must cause a low level bitmap resize when presenting...

all i can say is that on z5 premium and xz premium, when i used wm size 2160x3840 i can read small text in VR but when i restore wm size 1080x1920 i can no longer read the small text in VR . you can test it yourself with the app "virtual monitor resolution" by orpaga on the play store...
