What is the issue ya? I already updated to Android Q via OTA. So far the fast charging seem like ok. Only the notification led sometimes not working.

I cannot save as my documents like excel or word to SD card. for transfer movies or foto from internal storage to SD no problem.

Go ahead and update your xperia. . Yes can move application to SD. But cannot save any document to SD card. on kit kat able to save any document to SD.

My battery drain so fast. The fast dormancy consume more battery. I'm very lite user. On kit kat easy can get 3 hrs + screen on time. With LP the best can get 2.7 hrs. Only. Did factory reset after update.

I also don't know the battery and Bavaria engine related or not. I just realised the Bavaria engine off during low battery . turn on after some time turn off back. how about your's?

Same with my LP. Drain battery during cell standby. another bug I found is the bravia engine somehow turn off by itself several time even the battery is full

There are instructions on this forum how to replace the kinguser with the superSU. This step little bit tricky. My device reboot many time during change the kinguser to superSU. You might want to try..

My zr looked bootloader. Managed to root using kingroot.

My zr bootloader lock. And managed to root with kingroot. Root still remains even after reboot. So far no problem.

Just got my zr update to LP 2 day ago. For now seem like the battery life worse. Need to factory reset after this hopefully that help .

You can root using kingroot latest version. It work. I already root using it.

Doesn't work on my xperia zr. The SuperSU fail to remove the kinguser. And cannot update the binary.

If you want to root just use the kingroot new version. There a guide in this forum. is it really works if rooting with flash the kernel??

Actually to replace the lcd on Xzr is very easy. I did it myself. Bought lcd from eBay. There are a video on YouTube how to replace the lcd. I learned from that video. Good luck .

Mine Xzr only can last for 16 hrs. OST 3hrs 15 min average. Mobile Internet always on with stamina mode on.

Mine 3 hrs to get fully charged.. Can last 17 hrs with total 3.5 hrs on screen. Auto sync is off and location access is off. You can see on battery state which one use high battery usage.

My XZR also got warm during surfing the net. After upgrade to 4.4.4 the heating issue much more better. During surfing the net average cpu tempt 50*C. And during gaming the highest tempt was 65*C. You can download cpu tempt at Google play to monitor your cpu tempt.

In my case. I'm rooted and still got OTA update. But the new update cannot install to my XZR. Got error message. Cannot install update (4.4.4). Mine xperia.zr root bootloader lock.

Same happen to my XZR. The new update 4.4.4 cannot install. Got error message. my XZR rooted.

Now sony provide service to unlock our bloatloader. You can check your device availability at http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/

You can root using towelroot and to check just download root checker at play store.

I rooted my XZR with towelroot. You can try. No need to unlock the bootloader.
