Post Game streaming to other Android devices or PCs with Moonlight and GeForce Experience

I just read HERE https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/795004/gamestream/gamestream-basics-faq/ that the GeForce experience devs are now using 'login based pairing' for SHIELD devices. Given that I can't get the PIN box to show up anymore, AND I was forced to login to GeForce Experience...

Thread [Q] Need to auto-boot on power - suggestions??

Hey guys, I've been given an SGS3 (I9305T) with a dead screen. I've managed to gain access via an 11-pin HDMI cable, and then from my laptop using Mobizen which gives me access to ADB. I'm attempting to use it as a reversing camera; which is proving surprisingly effective! however, I need to...

Post Nexus 5 buttons won't work

Same here!! I've been searching for possible causes and fixes for the EXACT same issue - hardware buttons work fine in bootloader but unresponsive in Android. I've only ever run stock and reflashing made no difference. I am of the assumption that it's NOT a hardware issue, since long-press to...

Post [ROOT, CWM] JXD S18-03-xxxx RK2926 mini pad [Guide]

Just wanted to confirm I have successfully rooted my Audiosonic T-17B &" tablet (AUS KMart version) using your guide! Although I'll note that the BAT file didn't succeed for some reason. Manually following the commands worked fine though, but I didn't bother with CWM as yet. EDIT: Figured it...

Post [GUIDE] Google Music Beta in the UK

The 'error at line x' is something to do with Windows 7 (possibly x64) editing the torrc file. Had the same issue... Easiest fix is to go to the Tor folder/data/tor/ then open 'torrc' with Notepad manually. Edit the file by hand, save and restart Tor and it'll accept the changes fine.

    Post [DISCONTINUED] FUSIONideos v2.7.10 - Updated 3 october 2011

Bump. Is this because it's now up to 2.7.8?? EDIT: nevermind, it's working now. Am I correct in assuming the update is installed via Clockwork, same as the full ROM? (I haven't used any updaters before...)

Post Froyo for the huawei u8300

I just received and email from Huawei saying they have now released the source code for the U8300 on their website!! It's the eclair kernel, I presume; I haven't downloaded it to check yet. They also have the 'Normal' (presumably generic) Froyo source code there too, if that is useful to anyone.

Post Froyo for the huawei u8300

Hmmm, no dice. Clicked 'mount R/W' but still said /system/usr/keychrs directory didn't have permissions, tried editing manually which didn't apply either. Are there any other similar ROMs (eg CM6 or the like) that may also be closely compatible? i can put up with the keyboard until I get the...

Post Froyo for the huawei u8300

Current progress: Downloaded U8500 Froyo ROM and installed as per instructions above, twice. Rooted with Z4Root installed from my SD card. Had trouble trying to get the keyboard settings over; I tried using Ghost Commander to copy it into place with root access without success. Any other...

Post Froyo for the huawei u8300

OK, some progress; I've just rooted using z4root (sideload) and it appears to be working - Just backed up apps and settings with Titanium Backup. I just downloaded the stock U8300 so now I've got something to fall back on in case of emergency. It's not listed on the Huawei website though. So...

Post Froyo for the huawei u8300

I'll be following this thread very closely, with any results I get I'll be sharing them here. I can't seem to get USB debug to work, it's either a CD emulator with the Huawei device programs or mounting the SD card. Anyone else having this issue, or is there a workaround?
