android auto doesnt seem to work with the new update. Freezes when screen is off

sorry for the late reply but yes mostly by ear. i only used maths to work out an appropriate starting range since the output is a small 0.8v i used a class d pre amp to get it to 2v for my subs in built amp. has a lot of noise this way though so trying to fix that

Hi all, i was wondering if anyone knows how to safely remove the camera covering glass without taking off the ceramic back. Had the phone in my pocket while go karting and now have like a surface graze.

You can get cheap amplifiers from AliExpress with good efficiency if you use a 5v source but will introduce some noise. You only need to get it to 1v or 1.5 minimum then your sub amplifier can do the rest

It's a 0.8v out. I had to use a pre amp on my already amped sub

managed to get SWC working, it was the canbus adapter. A new one worked first time so i assume the atoto s8 SWC is pretty good.

update - apparently the sub output is 0.8v on both so either the software has a bug or my unit is dud. hopefully they will get back to me soon especially since i am selling my A6 this week! i also suspect my canbus unit is not working properly, only one of the 8 buttons is registering a...

Also the subwoofer output on my unit seems to not be working. Can anyone with a sub confirm there's is working?

ahh no its not with agama, agama was just used to get to the non skinned settings menu. If you go into settings, then accounts, then google then uncheck contact sync. it should fix your problem. did you manage to get SWC working?

I recently posted a fix for the Google contacts Unsync in the account settings. If you long hold the gear on agama it will take you there quicker

ive told atoto the problem but they think that the software is fine. If you save your contacts with their first and last name in the first name field, it will show up correctly, but otherwise, dont bother. Maybe if you email atoto they will listen to you

android auto, i didnt know this problem existed with car play. when i plug my iphone, the steering wheel works flawless. With auto, completely dead.

Will have to find another solution, steering wheel kits cost so much so if I can't even use it then it's not a good sign.
