Hello there. I am curious if anything on this thread might help me achieve my goal of having full Portrait Orientation on the Samsung Galaxy View? If anyone knows, your helps is appreciated!

So you think that wiping the tablet got water in the power button? And now you think it is stuck, causing that prompt to show up? What happens when you tap on "Restart Tablet"? Does the tablet restart? And if it does restart, does that prompt show up again?

What does the warning say? Sorry I only speak English so I cant read it, but the warning looks like the regular power down pop up. Goes it say something else other than "Restart, Sleep, Power Off"?

There is no rating option for screen orientation so I will put it here! lol. Please help me figure out a way to switch the display orientation to Portrait. I will send fresh cookies and money for milk if you help! (no one likes old warm, mailed milk) All the best, A.J.

I did some searching around and the Padholdr Fit View 18.4 was the only consumer option I found for mounting the Galaxy View. They certainly aren't cheap, but I plan to use my Galaxy View tablets in public for customers to browse on. So the Padholdr really did fulfill a lot of my needs... even...

Does rooting the Samsung Galaxy View allow the display to be viewed in Portrait Mode? (I just want to be able to view a internet browser App on the tablet in Portrait Mode instead of Landscape)
