It happened straight after the update. I've not tried it in screen mirroring mode for any length of time, but will today. The fan does work on the docking station.

Try updating the bootloader again using odin When this has happend factory reset Flash the rom, addonsu and gapps in the same TWRP session The rom should work then, I've been happily using it for about 6months now

You could alter the kernel settings with Deathly Adiutor In the Power and battery section, change the current in both AC/Mains input current (screen on) and AC/Mains charge current (screen on) to 2000mA. I find this charges the tablet with the screen on without it getting too hot.

Clean flashed the 12th rom, wouldn't recognise the sim. Updated the baseband recognises the sim. Dirty flashed the 19th rom and appears to be working fine with MHL and sound. Thanks

I don't wipe the cache or dalvik, I also don't reflash apps. Boot into recovery, flash rom, flash addonsu. Reboot and wait for it to update. You will not lose apps or data. If you want to make sure, make a backup first.

I started using the ROM from 27/5 and now on the latest 10/6. Primarily the tablet is for work, I take minutes and plan projects and meetings using INKredible Pro. Using the pen for longer periods then 30 minutes, never freezing up.

I dirty flashed it, without losing root, seems to be working fine.

Button illumination is back in 10/6 update.

Try doing it in recovery with TWRP. Press power and volume up buttons to boot into recovery mode, then press wipe button and slide to factory reset. Reboot to system.

Loaded up the O/S coming from a rooted Sumsung Lollipop, miss some of the functionality of the native s pen apps, but apart from that, it's a brilliant O/S, smooth, stable and fast. Thanks.

I just have a folder called music on the external SD card all my albums go in there. Then add the ring tones and alarms from settings by choosing the file from that folder. I use Poweramp for music and just point it there, without seemingly having the problems that you are having.
