It is using P-OLED. Simply plastic and flexible LED panel that could have lamination issues during assembly.

Pixel camera app port vs u11's stock app Bighter pictures are from pixel's app port and all in extremely low light With good light conditions pictures look almost identical except colors are better in stock app.

hamdir Have you tried the latest pixel 2 camera apk port on the U11? I know colors are off but it gives better HDR in tricky lighting. Do you think HTC might bring camera updates or they will focus on next flagship. The device still has some potential to be unlocked.

Let me say from experience after switching from S7e to U11. Faster, Cooler and more power efficient (from better standby and ufs2.1)

Standby drain is huge. Android system keeps the phone awake for too long. Not sure if a factory reset would help.

I have had my share with fake batteries. All 4 won't charge properly. Finally, I got the one from china that worked as the original battery. Samsung has a serious battery quality or it is overcharged by design. Now I don't charge the new one over 75% to 80% to see if this extends the lifespan...

Yup, Samsung batteries are probably the lowest quality batteries out there. Even new ones are shot. Went through 3 already trying to get new battery with full capacity. No it is not normal like everyone says.

Fast charge doesn't harm at all. never noticed a difference with or without it.

At least I used to get 3 hrs SOT and now I get 5 to 6 SOT. It works for me. It is at least an estimation that helps understanding what is going on especially if there is no app that consumes the battery.

Accubattery is a fine tool to know an approximation of how far the battery has worn out. If anyone has a better way let us know. I changed the battery and it jumped from 69% health to 98%. Coincidence? I don't think so.

I just installed Sony made battery. Hope this one is better than Samsung's SDI. Time will tell.

I noticed ebay sellers have Samsung batteries made by SDI, ATL and Sony. Does anyone think one of those is batter than yhe others? I would think Sony made battery is better than the other two but I'm just assuming. I tried ATL and it is worse that SDI.

New people at HTC don't get it. You cannot afford doing short cuts. It is 2017. A prime priced phone should never be compromised. HTC U ultra could have been a hit if it had a huge battery. People wouldn't trash it that way but they did because of the wasted space.

It is a wear item. I doubt they would change it after a year of use.

If you do it yourself, not much. May be $20 with new back glass like I did.

This app is legit. After changing the battery, here is the 1st charge capacity. It will get there after few cycles. Went from 2400mhA to this with the new battery. Anyone getting poor battery life with no obvious reasons, just go ahead and change the battery. Samsung batteries degrade fast.

I will test it when I change the battery after giving it some cycles.

Honestly, I think Samsung batteries are inconsistent. Poor quality if you know their past.

Has anyone tried to change the battery ? There are two battery models that end with ABA and ABE. Anyone knows which one has better cell quality. Samsung has multiple companies that make the batteries.

If you go back to original firmware before updates took a place, you will be able to get that kind of battery life. Samsung screwed the software big time.
