No. You cannot recover from this with a jig. The only recovery is jtag; which I think is available for $60.00 for the S3. The jig is completely worthless in this situation.

Are you rooted? Have you done any nandroid backups? Check your Clockword or TWRP backup subfolders if you have. Backup files are rather large and it only takes a few to eat up a fair amount of memory.

This is the "Smart Alert" in Settings ---> Motion ---> Smart Alert. This causes the phone to vibrate when you pick it up and you have a missed notification. You can disable it if you would like.

You should double check. If you have installed any of the leaks something has been changed and while you can reset the counter with Triangle Away, it will not stay at zero when you reboot. I have seen this discussed in a few other threads and have noticed it with my own phone.

There are some settings (like night mode) that I believe block/silence every incoming call/notification. I think the "White List" overrides that.

When you set up your pattern lock (Settings --> Security ---> Screen Lock ---> Pattern) it will have a check box for the "With Swipe Lock" If you have that unchecked you will not have that initial screen.

If you are rooted Wallet will always show the phone as an unsupported device. As long as you have a balance on the card Wallet will work just fine even though you have this message; mine did.

That looks like the Stock Recovery menu. Did you flash a stock Recovery (CWM)? If you want a good step-by-step you should try using the Samsung Galaxy S3 QCom Toolkit, assuming you are on a PC.
