Tried it and abandoned it. Gravity sensor works very slowly to rotate screen accordingly. Some apps for viewing video streams like Eurosport player freeze or stop responding while playing.

Post ***FeraLab*** Official - Break The Limits...

I do, living in Romania means that prety much every apartment will have a wireless router so the 2.4GHz band is pretty crowded. Anyway, looking at pictures taken this morning, they are blurry even with the flash on. It seems I must look through the settings a bit, to improve them. Natural light...

Using latest available version the phone will not connect to wireless network on channel 8. It does connect to another wireless network on channel 4. As the first network has faster speed I gave up this rom and am going back to stock. Oh, wait, it was because I had my network set to N mode only...

Post [DISCUSSION] Xperia Z 4.4.2 Bugs and Errors..

New Google Play Services does not help me with the battery drain. People I call consistently report that they can't hear me well. Testing the microphone works fine. TrackID is quite correct when identifying songs it listens too. Just during calls people can't hear me, apparently.

Post Dropped my Xperia Z :(

Got a SPAM message for some pizza offer, took out the phone from my pocket and managed to drop it on the road. It's scarred on the sides like it has been in WW2. SONY are lying assholes about the durability of this phone. And I only had the case off the phone to check if it has any relevance to...

So basically because carriers are like gealous bitches that want their firmwares to go 1st, we have to wait to receive the easiest update that should require no special approvals because it the cleanest one and it's the base for all others firmwares for that region/country.

Nobody can tell, but it seems they are releasing OTA versions very fast after SEUS versions, so at least there is progress. But do not get your hopes up very much about this firmware, I checked out commercial & journalist release and was not very impressed.

You have a good point about Generic UK, to this day my Xperia pro, with Generic UK, unbranded bought from clove.co.uk has not received the 4.0.4 update... and it was hell to update it to german version wich had a different hardware layout for the keyboard.

    Post [STOCK ROM][FTF] Xperia Z (C6603) 10.4.1.B.0.101 Generic DE (Unbranded/Germany)

This is very useful if you want to unbrand or revert to the original firmware / customization the Xperia Z had. Especially if disappointed by performance in 4.4.2 firmwares. My personal procedure to use these ftf files is to install them using flashtool, start the phone and configure till the...

Actually it might have happened once to me to get an update on a sunday, a few years ago, but I'm unclear on the details. Now what puzzles me to no end is how come branded firmwares for Germany get released before unbranded one - which historically has been one of the 1st builds to be released...

    Post Sony Xperia SP Cases&Coves

Post [Q] Has anyone disassembled the XSP?

Hi, First you need to be aware that this procedure is DANGEROUS because it requires precision, special screwdrivers, skill and patience. I just opened my SP today, to change the frame and among the things that went wrong and very wrong: - lost the buttons on the frame, for volume and camera...

Thread Looking to replace your SP's frame?

Hi, Maybe it happened to you to be as unlucky or careless as me and you dropped your SP on the floor. Or you slipped on ice and you dropped on your SP, that was in your pocked. Both happened to me. Now my SP is bent slightly and has a chipped frame. So I asked how much does it cost to fix this...

The leaked version is for a very specific device, for a very specific region. Using it in another region with other carriers than those originally intended for can have all sorts of consequences. I'll wait a little bit longer, maybe the official version will come out.

Post ICS GENERAL- For discussion on the ICS update

So far I am fairly content with the 4.0.4 update for the Xperia arc: - phone looks really cool, themes, wallpapers, apps have a new look - performance is satisfactory, with the ANT+ and Facebook integration disabled - battery life seems better in certain respects than with Gingerbread 2.3.4 -...
