If you already had permanent root and S-OFF before applying the OTA, it's possible to downgrade and apply root again. Check my post earlier in this topic, #107 :)

I only used the zip, followed the RAGE guide and that did the trick on S-OFF, so indeed we now have to find a way to put an S-ON in S-OFF, downgrade and root it again. That's the quickest i guess

I really don't think that's possible, a goldcard need to work i guess. But i don't really know the solution.. S-OFF is a go, so if you're on 1.72 and you are S-OFF just put the PC10IMG.ZIP from the stock 1.34 RUU on the SD card, and put Desire Z in HBOOT (vol down + power) I used...

adb shell chmod 0755 /data/local/tmp/* again, did the trick. Somehow it didn't work the first time. I managed to install the clockwork recovery. Trying to install CM6.1 now!

I managed to get temp root, after applying the last step (step 5) /data/local/tmp/root sync i get /data/local/tmp/root: /data/local/tmp/busybox: permission denied blah blah so i'm still figuring that out

I extracted rom.zip from the stock RUU and put it on my SDCARD as PC10IMG.zip and loaded it through HBOOT. It told me it succesfully updated my phone. Now i checked my system info, it says: Build: 1.34.405.5 So somehow i managed to downgrade, trying to reroot again. I'll keep you posted

No it's not rooted but I still have my S-OFF if i must believe HBOOT. So with my S-OFF i should have the opportunity to use fastboot and flash the recovery or data or system. i dont need root for that because its nandunlocked. But it still says 'permission denied'

Tried flashing clockworkmod through fastboot.. sending 'recovery' (4040 KB)... OKAY [ 0.702s] writing 'recovery'... FAILED (remote: not allowed) finished. total time: 0.704s So, i think my S-OFF is not functioning properly @MacaronyMax, got any further? :(

So what's the best step to take for me? Downgrade through the downgrade topic? (Witch require root i guess, don't have root though, can't get temp either) Or flash old pc10img.zip? Or are there any other options to try?

Cool, i'll flash this rom later tonight! @ali ba: I also have the syncing problem (mail only syncs on powerup, also market updates) with the Vanilla Bean rom and i read that someone have the same problem with this rom, what do you need from us so you can look into it?

@ali ba, does this rom fix the YouTube and video playback?

- The keyboard in 0.3.1 is 'broken' (see through) next to the 'a' and the 'l' and i personally like the stock android icons from 0.2.1, LOL EDIT: Keyboard works, because of the dutch language support there are two android keyboards installed. The second one isn't broken!

Alright, yeah i mean every video playback.. movies you create with your camera also won't play :)

Is video playback fixed in 0.3?

About the Youtube App it indeed doesnt work only one frame and then only sound.. This is also with downloaded movies and movies made with camera.. So no movie playback :( Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App

Is it possible to also put the original white notification bar in the rom instead of the black one? (two versions of the rom white and black?)

Hello, Is it possible to get the stock android notification bar on rooted HTC Legend? I searched google and xda-dev but didn't find any usefull information. Anyone?
