Thread Did anyone try PPIS29.65-24-2 from lolinet?

mirrors.lolinet.com offers firmware for the Moto G8 Plus. I have a XT2019-1 on reteu. Did anyone try this with XT2019-1_DOHA_RETEU_9.0_PPI29.65-51_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip ? My phone says it is on PPIS29.65-24-2. What does the missing S in PPI29.65-51 mean?

    Post [ROM][LineageOS][17.1][UNOFFICIAL][Nexus10] -> 2020-12-15

Thanks, installing Gapps solved most problems. Some apps still made trouble but I could solve that by uninstalling and reinstalling them through the Play Store. I had to download the Magisk manager app from APKmirror. Installing the ZIP through TWRP again didn't help.

Problems with apps after updating to 16.0 I updated all my apps to the latest version available from the Play Store. Then I did the repartioning and updated from lineage-14.1-20171019-UNOFFICIAL-manta to lineage-16.0-20181020-UNOFFICIAL-manta. Before rebooting I installed Magisk 17.3. Now lots...

Thread How to OTA a Moto G6 plus when rooted with Magisk?

My phone (XT1926-3) offered the July 2018 OTA today. I followed the advice at https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/blob/master/docs/tips.md and did the following: - Magisk Manager > Uninstall > Restore Images - Settings > System > System Update The phone started to download the OTA (about 300...

    Thread Prerequisites for OTA?

Most guides here are about rooting with SuperSU. Last month I decided to go with Magisk instead, since development of SuperSU came to an end. I did a complete wipe, installed Stock (8.1.0, patch level June 2018) and Magisk, then restored my Apps with Titanium Backup. Happy ever after. Now the...

Post [xt1802][Brazil]Return Stock Firmware Moto G5s Plus, relock bootloader [tested]

Yeah ... well: that is what everybody is writing. But nobody posts a firmware and a command sequence leading to a working "mfastboot oem lock".

Post [xt1802][Brazil]Return Stock Firmware Moto G5s Plus, relock bootloader [tested]

That would mean that no bootloader could be re-locked ever. Apparently at least the LG G5 can be re-locked.

That worked. Additionally: no need to download fwtool: there already is /system/bin/fwtool in the image. Indeed my dev_boot_fastboot_full_cap was 0. I set it back to 1, now I can boot directly to TWRP or flash it to recovery. Thank you!

I'm sorry I did not mention that: I'm on fastboot version 3db08f2c6889-android, the one you linked to. My bootloader is bootloader-dragon-google_smaug.7900.50.0.img. Post System does not mount and i need to extract files by ADB

You should see the device in Windows when TWRP is running (and the device is charged by the PC). That should be enough to save your files.

Post System does not mount and i need to extract files by ADB

You should be able to bring it to fastboot mode by powering it off, then holding Power, Volume up an Volume down until the robot appears. From there you should see the device with "fastboot devices". You might need to install some drivers at that point. When in fastboot you should be able to...

If your bootloader is unlocked, you can always boot TWRP, Advanced > File Explorer, change to /data/system and delete locksettings.db, locksettings.db-wal and locksettings.db-shm.

Don't know about BeanGapps but I had a similar problem with OpenGapps. When flashing the stock package it said that there wasn't enough free space in /system and refused to install. I then switched to the nano package ("Minimal installation, but including the extra functionality that is not...

Thank you followmsi for your support of the Nexus 10! I would like to ask what the reason is for the special TWRP in this thread? At twrp.me there is a 3.1.1-0 download for manta, so the Nexus 10 seems to be supported "officially". Has it some special functions to support LineageOS?

    Post Help rooting Pixel C!!

You seem to have somehow messed up your /system image. To restore it without losing your data, follow these steps: - find the folder where your ADB.EXE is installed. Typically that would be C:\Program Files (x86)\WugFresh Development\Nexus Root Toolkit\data - we will call that the ADB folder -...

I'm on 7.1.2 (June 2017 update, N2G47W), rooted with SuperSU 2.82). I would like to make TWRP (3.1.1-0) backups from time to time. This forces me to run unencrypted because I can't get TWRP to decrypt /data. Here is what I tried: - start unencrypted, flash update, let it encrypt - start...

I just wanted to report that I successfully re-locked my bootloader (did not find that here). I have an H850 with GPS problems. To return it I wanted it to be as stock as possible. I used TWRP to flash LG-H85010E-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip from Codefire. Back to unrooted. I also tried to flash...

I have a H850 on V10d. The bootloader is unlocked, TWRP 3.0.2-0 is flashed to the recovery partition and SuperSU 2.78 is installed. When I try an OTA update, the phone reboots to TWRP. Rebooting from there leaves me with the old firmware. What is the preferred way to update? Can I use LG...
