It seems that my repeating the solution isn't enough. Sometimes, on the ICS leak, the home/lock/search don't work. The solution is to do factory resets until it works. It can take many tries, but it works. Proof? I'm running the ICS leak as my daily driver now. It took my four tries to get it...

My friend has a Galaxy Nexus, and it's having problems with rom flashing. Anytime he flashes a rom, the; phone never makes it past the post screen. I suspect it's a kernel problem, but I don't own a Galaxy Nexus, unfortunately. The only rom that works is cm9 axiom. Backup/restore works fine. So...
