The files are indeed a little bit hidden, even from the browser. Found the correct one for my handset now and flashed NON-HLOS.bin and fsg.mbn as instructed in the README. Unfortunately still no mic. Will have to go back to stock to see if it works there, oh well...

Aha! I tried googling "moto x 5.1 modem" and "moto x 5.1 modem firmware" but the only serious thing I find is https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/development/xt1053-retail-stock-lollipop-flashable-t3155843 and they don't have a download for the 5.1 modem there. Where can you find it?
