So I'm still on Marshmallow at the moment, but I want to get on to Nougat. Trouble is, when I try to flash this, I get stuck at the android boot screen and it stays. Not sure if there is anything else that I should be doing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is there something I need to do before upgrading from stock 5.0 (besides the full wipe)? I've tried to flash this but I keep getting stuck at the LG boot screen.......

Sorry for nitpicking (there's literally nothing else wrong with the rom atm), but all my apps open instantaneously, except for the settings? There's like a half second delay every time I open it, even if I have just gone into the settings.

Hi All. I'm using Nova Launcher at the moment and every time I unlock the device, the clock widget has a redraw ie. it appears after a second. Not the worst, but kinda gets annoying. I'm trying to work out why my battery life is so abysmal. On stock, I can get at least 4 hours as well, but on any aosp rom, I'm on this one atm, I'm lucky if I can get 2.5 hours. Can you tell me exactly what you've done for your idle battery life? I switched to Omni rom for its split view function, and ART, and I'm getting the best SOT I've ever gotten. Last I checked, I had 8 hours and still close to 20% left which is a record for me. But I think I tried disablong one...

My brightness is always around 5-10%. Any higher and it hurts my eyes anyway. And my max is still 8 hours SOT. For some reason though, after my last charge, I'm at 70% with 3 hours of SOT, with roughly the same sort of usage, books, youtube, manga, light browsing. So I should be heading for 10...

That actually makes me feel a lot better about my device lol. Think I'm just going to factory reset it, unroot, lock the bootloader and hand it over to ASUS. Worse case scenario, everything stays the same.
