Then it's up to you to convince your client to return it to Samsung for warranty. As for recovering his data, that is the hard part.

Return it and claim warranty, tell them that your phone suddenly went off and that you don't know the reason. They may replace the board for you.

Few people are ready to give up the support for S-Pen and adopt AOSP based roms. Besides the S-Pen is the main reason people buy the note series.

The Note 3 is an amazing phone, but if you plan to travel out of your country, could turn into a nightmare due to the region lock. The so called activation does not work. Take it from my experience.

Don't buy the Note 3 if you plan to travel outside your country. It is as simple as that. Even the so called activation does not work. Look for another manufacturer.

Is it possible to flash this rom over another custom rom. Am currently on Dr.Ketan's Custom ROM V3 and Philz Recovery

I have only used Dr. Ketan's ROM, and it's Touchwiz based meaning S-pen support . I can't comment on the rest. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk

If the official Samsung rom comes with call recording, then i will use it. otherwise custom roms have soo many useful tweaks which i use.

Before rushing to do anything, please research alot especially how to backup your EFS, otherwise you may end up with a wireless phablet without a phone. Worse you could end up with a brick:(

It depends on whether it has features which one really needs and which cannot be found on NoteII. Maybe you look at it from that angle.
