My gmail is working great. It also appears that notifications are clearing for me again when I clear the email on the phone. Not sure about other apps. I still have a stuck "Missed Call" notification from a few days ago.

It broke for me too on the first update to Gear Manager after I updated to the Euro MK7 rom. It's been driving me crazy. When I first put MK7 on it was working perfect until the next update of GM. Now none of the notifications will clear automatically, for any app.

Is that a web-only deal or in stores too?

So far so good! Gmail is sending full subject and body of emails! However, when you click "Show On Device" it launches the stock email client instead of gmail. It sounds like that's because it uses the email notification methods.

At work we have this unwritten rule that cell phones have to be silent. I use Tasker to shut everything off and turn on vibrate. I would love it if there was a way to do this with the Gear as well. Atooma does nothing with sound that I can see. Anyone heard of anything that might work?

Only negative I see with any of these solutions is trying to use it while it's sitting on a table. I use my note as a notebook at work. It sits flat on my desk and I'm writing on it instead of post-it-notes.

^ This. You have some app that is hooking into location services that is running all the time that she doesn't have on her phone. The facebook app is famous for this, but there are others that use "Check In" or Messenger type functions that will constantly ping your location.

I use Tasker to set my volume levels when I plug my headphones or my car aux cable in. It shows the hearing damage warning, but it sets the volume right where I want it.
