Mybackup Root is a consideration. That is what I use for going between ROMs. You have APKs + data if you want, and then you also have a data section just for mms etc... but I have never used that, I just sync contacts with google and forget the rest. Not sure of the difference between MyBackup...

Swap is a portion of your card (or hard drive for desktop) that the system will use almost like RAM - for frequently accessed files/information. This was very useful for the older phones that had little RAM but not really needed for newer phones. That swap will get 'thrashed' quite a bit too...

I like all the cameras, they all seem good to me. It will come down to personal preference but I have come to keep a backup of CM, Sense and MIUI installs, soon to have ICS after camera fix I am sure. Have your cake and eat it too!

I second both those 2 answers but since you tried CM7, you could now try some sense ROMs like Darkside 4 or Unity, then perhaps MiUI. Currently running CM7.2 and liking it. Love Darkside Sense too. VUnity and Affinity are good as well, for starters ...Liked MIUI too ... I might suggest another...

You might also want to try MIUI Darkside and CM 7.1 or even 7.2. Between Unity and those two, you will have a good idea of some of the different flavored ROMs out there. Any of the top rated ROMs on the resource bible are pretty stable IMHO ... Have fun ...
