I couldn't get the script to work either.

Had to do this 4 times to get it to stick. The second to the last step preventing the update is what was difficult. It kept upgrading to Android 8. I couldn't get the script part to work. So far so good this has worked for me. Kibmcz's "a)" suggestion allowed me to stop the automatic upgrade. So...

I answered these questions. However I get an error of failed to copy when I adb push the sh file.

Questions: "cd /system/etc/security mv otacerts.zip otacerts.disabled.zip" is this typed in the adb shell? Where on the computer should I save this "Save as disupdate.sh on your computer"? Thanks

When i flashed the 5.0, Bluetooth didn't work. Flashed back to 4.0

The memory you assign as internal can only be read by the device you did it on. You transfer that card to another device or computer, they will not be able to access that partition.

I did this on my new LG G6 7.0 Nougat with a 256gb Samsung micro card and I have no gray icons at start up. I figure my card is better/faster and thus no gray.

On my old galaxy tab 3 with a san disk 128gb, when I first turn on the unit, I get some gray icons for the first few seconds, then eventually they get back their color and full functionality. I have yet to pull the card and transfer to another phone, so I can't answer your other question.

I just have to say, thanks so much for this ROM! It breathed new life back into my Galaxy Tab 3. It's working beautifully on this ROM with all the up to date features. In a way, this is also good for the environment if you think about it. One less tablet in the trash! Excellent work OP. :good:

I only get the "4G" and not "LTE." I am also using BANKS-Gapps, but I can download apps from the play store. Maybe you got a bad download for the banks-gapps? Did you check it first to see if it was a good download before flashing it?

Does 4g lte work with this ROM?

Have you tried going into settings/cellular network/preferred network type/ then selecting "CDMA+LTE/EvDo"

There is no way to update prl or profile with this rom.

Nexus player, Marshmallow Works, but when I get to the TV show it plays for one second then entire screen goes gray. Then I have to unplug the player to get out of that screen and reboot player.
