Odin makes me nervous lol. Just to make sure i understand step 5 completely... When the full tar ball finishes, you leave the phone in download mode, unplug from the computer, plug back into the computer, then hit the Reset button in Odin before pointing AP to the Recovery TAR?

is it necessary to odin the full nkd tar first? the instructions from the thread say to just grab the NKD firmware and recovery of choice from =>HERE<= courtesy of jrkruse, odin, and flash rom.

I've had some issue when on speakerphone with voice going in and out, but not sure if that's the popping you are referring to. Maybe try enabling/disabling Voice enhancement in Call settings. That gave me some problems on previous devices...

Looking for something similar for CleanRom 7. The older battery mods do not work with version 7.

Look back a page. For some reason it isn't working even on a clean install. Just using something like Titanium to remove the search app and then install it from the Play Store. You will be good to go.

Same thing happened with me except with S Voice. I opened and closed it multiple times while holding the phone in Portrait orientation but it opened in landscape. I didn't have to reboot though, I just turned off screen rotation and that fixed it. Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda...

Still haven't flashed 1.6, but with the GPS issues in 1.5, why is the problem only within Navigation? I'm in st .Louis and its reporting me near Kansas City when i chose navigation and then map, but I have no issues with location in weather apps or in Goolgle Maps/Latitude and GPStest results...

Strange....I came from stock root66, did a full wipe and installed 1.5.... Location was working fine with WiFi off until today... maps seems to be semi accurate but Navigation can't get a lock on me.....guess I will have to wipe and try 1.6....also stock kernel and baseband and I haven't flashed...

I thought the potential to lose your IMEI was a result of using the kexec recovery and flashing non-stock ROMs.... at least it doesn't seem to be an issue with regular CWM recovery and any of the stock Touch-Wiz ROMs. So, the old thread about backing up and restoring your IMEI is no longer...
