Post [OP7TPRO TMO 5G][OOS 11.0.1.5 HD61CB] Unbrick tool to restore your device to OxygenOS

It should work regardless if the bootloader is unlocked or not. The problem is I think some parts of the program are set to expire after a certain date. I don't have the phone anymore, but what I did was close the program. Then disconnect your computer from the internet physically, so turn off...

Post [OP7TPRO TMO 5G][OOS 11.0.1.5 HD61CB] Unbrick tool to restore your device to OxygenOS

Yeah the weird thing is it did work before on the same computer with the same exact set of files. I had that .19 version and had used it a few times to restore after I screwed something up. Then all of a sudden it started complaining about missing SMT config on both versions I tried including...

Post [OP7TPRO TMO 5G][OOS 11.0.1.5 HD61CB] Unbrick tool to restore your device to OxygenOS

For some reason whenever I try to use this now, I get an error about a missing SMT Config. Everything else is working as expected, I get the "Connected" status for the phone and everything. I'm using the cable the phone came with, and in a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port it's the same result. I tried using...

Post Random data disconnecting since update to .25

No problems with this for me on .25. It actually fixed most of the issues I had with data. I actually get more stable 5g reception at work now instead of it constantly fluctuating between 5g/LTE. It also seems to have fixed the issue with WiFi disconnecting and reconnecting constantly on initial...

You sir are a lifesaver! I was having too many issues with my phone after some of the tweaks, and was stuck on the .16 software version. Now I'm updated to .19 and ready to break the phone again! :D

Just tried flashing it on my T-Mobile OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition through EXKM, and it Aborted due to "Unsupported Device". I requested my unlock code the day I got the phone, so I have unlocked bootloader and root, and am willing to do any testing on this ;)

Post OnePlus 7t pro Mclaren 5G battery drain

For me, the battery life is actually fine for how much I use my phone (which, admittedly isn't that much). That said, if I'm using my phone in an area with really good 5g signal, the phone gets REALLY hot relatively quickly. I could just be scrolling down Facebook, or email, and then after a...

Haha yeah, actually I'm really liking it! I care a lot about sound, and with Tidal, this sound base, and my v4a tweaks, I'm really loving the sonic experience :). Clean and crisp without sound degradation. And definitely! Thanks for your work man :good:

Installed as well. I already had Arise installed, so the only thing I changed was the base audio effects you have here from the Xperia so I can see which I prefer. On enabling that, Arkymys was on a force close loop, which makes sense, so I removed that and all is good :). The bixby button...

Post Took the Note 8 swimming today took these pictures

So I have a story related to this haha. I recently went on a trip to Hawaii, and me and my fiance went snorkeling at a beach. We were looking around trying to find some fish and there were a few good ones, but it wasn't the best spot. 20 minutes later I realized that I left my phone and wallet...

Post [ROOT][SNAPDRAGON] SamFAIL for Galaxy Note8[V3]

Delete all the bloat first. Then, for the ones that you don't know if you'll use but aren't critical system apps, keep them frozen with something like titanium backup. Then you can greenify the apps that you want to keep but tend to run in the background and drain battery. The ones that you...

    Post Note 8 battery life

Actually it's over 3 days lol... Look at the time, it says 72 hours which is 3 days, and the fourth charge is from the 4th morning lol... The "2 days on battery" is the total amount of hours that it wasn't plugged in over the 3 days and one morning. You divide that by 3 and that's about 16 hours...

Post [ROOT][SNAPDRAGON] SamFAIL for Galaxy Note8[V3]

Look at my post on the battery life thread. Here's a summary. Over three days I averaged 4 hours SOT, and only lost 35% battery at the worst. Multiply that by 2, and I get about 8 hours SOT with 10% remaining, and that's with only 80% of my battery capacity lol... And during the day I'm not...

    Post Note 8 battery life

Okay, so I rooted and here's my stats. Everyone makes a big stink about the 80% limit, but tbh the battery saving benefits of what you can do with root along with all the other wonderful benefits far outweigh that one con. Over the last 3 days, I have about 4 hours SOT for each day, and as you...

Post AdHell 2 - Rootless Ad Blocking

I can confirm these issues on the Note 8. I am not able to download Play Store apps, run the builtin Software Update, as well as a few other things. Disabling the adblocking for these specific apps did not restore functionality either. It only began working again after turning off adhell 2 and...

    Post Overall speed

The phone itself is quite fast! I had the S8+, and this boots way faster as well. But for some reason, my data connection is considerably worse on T-Mobile. Agreed. Come on guys, be respectful. If they don't release...

Agreed. We should never flame the devs because they are doing so much hard work for us when don't we do anything other than consume what they work on, and then some even complain about how long it takes them. It's as if some of us think they are entitled to have root. They do this because they...
