I don't seem to be able to download any updates (to 28.4) or the micropatch (to 28.6). When I then click on the changelog, I get an unhandled exception. Running Windows 7 in a VM, but may try using a Windows 10 VM instead. Any suggestions?

Hello @Datastream33 , I started a conversation with you and sent my build.prop from my brand new 2022 version of the FireHD 10+ (11th generation). I hope that information helps with getting support for it. :) Thank you for your continued work on the Fire Toolbox! Cheers, Nathan Zachary

Thank you for that information. I am not even connecting my tablet to wifi until I get this problem sorted. Two more questions in the interim: 1) is there any ETA for the new release which will work with this new tablet version and can I follow the progress somewhere?; 2) any problem just...

    Thread FireHD 10 (7th gen - suez) - any stable AOSP-based ROMs?

Hello, I've been looking through a lot of the threads here on XDA, and am trying to find any stable AOSP-based ROM for my FireHD 10 7th generation (suez). I would prefer LineageOS, but am open to anything that is better than FireOS (setting the bar pretty low, I know). I see that LineageOS 16...

Thanks! I already purchased the PRO version and installed it. Unfortunately, it is insanely slow. I know that the hardware specs are really low (even for Android 4.2.2), but I was hoping that I would be able to free up some resources by killing off services. When I try the "Google...

Yes, it takes quite some time. I put my music (~100k Ogg Vorbis tracks) on a USB flash drive, and the initial scan took probably around 20 minutes. Thereafter, though, it doesn't have to rescan and is at least usable. Cheers, Nathan Zachary

If you bought it via the PowerAmp site (and not Google Play), you should have the license. Then you just need to install the trial via APK, and you can unlock it using the registration option in the settings menu. You will need the Google Account Services APK as well, and an active internet...

In order for me to apply the full version unlocker for PowerAmp, I had to purchase another license from their website: http://powerampapp.com/buy-poweramp/ (using the "Buy Now, Directly" link). Then, I installed the APK for the right version of Google Account Manager for 4.2.2 -->...

So, yes, PowerAmp works when the APK is downloaded from their official site: http://powerampapp.com/download-poweramp/ That's the 14-day trial, but it plays my OGG collection from USB (and caches everything so it starts up quickly) I've emailed the developer to see about the license. I have...

Thanks for the help. I actually got it to work on B35 by flashing the boot stack. It also seems like the biggest problem I was having was due to using a Windows VM. I didn't have any hosts with Windows installed as the primary OS, so I had to borrow a friend's computer to get it to work. :)

Will this application work for unlocking the bootloader on B35? I've tried the other methods that I've seen and can't get them to work. I was just trying to install TWRP and LineageOS 14.1. Can't get to any of those parts though, since I can't unlock the bootloader.

First of all, I would recommend sticking with just the stock CM ROM before making any other changes. The radio is how your phone "communicates" with the network. Some people will see improvement in data connections, et cetera by updating the radio to a newer version, some see no difference...
