Just picked up a resonably priced 20x 5g and enjoying it so far. The faster charging rate is very 😎 I got myself a 5g sim to test with it, see what speeds I can get at home at and the office.

2FA means when there is an extra security step set up for Paypal. The Paypal app does not run reliably on my 20X. From what I read online EMUI12 is based on HarmonyOS. That is based on Android I think, but I don't know which version. But anyway, I like it so far :)

I got my update in the Netherlands a few days ago. I really like it. Battery life seems unchanged so far. Love the 20x, am on my 3rd. It's great to feel like this has given the phone a new lease of life. PayPal app still won't run reliably for me with 2FA on, but that has been the case for months.

EMUI 12 just arrived OTA in the Netherlands, I expected it next month 😁

Noreve was a washout. They have beautiful handmade leather cases, in theory, but after several months waiting I had to get a refund. They simply couldn't deliver any of the many custom options they list for the Mate20x, only the few stock options which were not for me. Shame.

I never found one. Would be super handy too with the rear fingerprint reader. Maybe the screen size makes this feature too power hungry, I don't know.

Samsung make lovely devices, that's for sure. I had a Galaxy Note 10+ but sold it due to weak battery life. From what I read the Note 20 ultra is equal or worse than the 10+ in that regard. Doesn't matter if you are mostly close to a plug socket of course. And maybe I had a poor example.

Yup, I agree. Also the 5g has worse battery life and lower grade speakers than the 4g. Which I remember is partly why I didn't buy that model originally.
