I've been out of the V20 scene for a long time, but recently decided to use my old V20 as my in-car media controller. I have been trying SuperROM, but how is this one running (battery life, any freeze ups, etc.)?

I have the S View cover on my Note 9, so almost every option seems bad to me. I want one with wireless charging and without having to take off the S View cover, but it looks like I'd lose magnetic and have to use side clamps, forcing the S View cover to stay closed.

Bought a used h918 off of ebay, got it with 10j and just rooted, then wiped it via the newly installed TWRP, flashed this 10s, Magisk, and booted without issue. I am back and it feels good. Now for the Titanium Backup restores (luckily did a backup before attempting this the first time).

So have you just been living without root or were you able to get into recovery? I am tempted to switch phones just cause I need root to restore everything I lost.

So I somehow ended up wiping my phone and now can't get back into TWRP. All I did was flash this but I must have missed flashing Magisk. I can't seem to access TWRP no matter what I do and adb reboot recovery takes me to a bad page on my phone. I have lost everything, already had my tantrum...

So, I am stuck on the T-Mobile screen. I flashed R overtop of my installation of LineageOS, then flashed Magisk. I assumed, based on OP, that the R package would wipe system and all that, but I have been stuck on the T-Mobile screen for a good 15 minutes now. Thoughts? Update: Wow, ignore me...

I got Magisk installed properly just through Magisk Manager...although since I am still having issues, maybe not, haha

I always get a CTS mismatch on my H918 no matter what I have run. I just tried Magisk 11, latest roothide, and Werewolf 1.0 and it still failed.

If you try the Werewolf kernel, you should be able to pass SafetyNet.

My SELinux is Permissive and won't switch to Enforcing even if I use SELinuxModeChanger. How did you get yours to switch to Enforcing?

Not sure what issues people are having with it on H918. Only thing I have is that SafetyNet helper isn't passing even with this kernel and rootswitch. I did a clean flash, though, so dirty flash might have issues.

Anyone able to use root switch, WETA 3.3, and Werewolf 1.0 on the H918 and pass SafetyNet check? I have all of that setup, but SafetyNet Helper still says payload validation failure.

I have 1.0 and H918 and yes, static boot on every reboot. I am on WETA 3.3, so ymmv. All I do when I reboot my phone is flip it upside down so that the sensors are covered, wait until I hear the vibrate and then after a few seconds flip it back over and it is fine.

SafetyNet Helper is still reporting a failed payload error for me. I have version 1.0 installed on a H918, running WETA 3.3, using Root Switch to toggle root. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Just curious, what would be the benefit of getting 996 to run on T-Mobile devices? Universal ROM compatibility? Also, did you flash and see what happened?

I may be way off-base here, but I am trying to learn. Can anything be done with the Recovery's Mount /System or the Update via ADB or Update via SD Card?

I tried adb reboot bootloader and it would just boot into normal mode. I think they removed fastboot like they did on the v20.

Looks like they are just prepared for when we can unlock the Sprint bootloader. The link they have there takes you to the TMobile directions to unlock bootloader, which unfortunately doesn't work.

Change to.build.type from userdebug to just user in the build.prop and reboot.

My only issue is that snapchat video recording issue. Haven't tried a previous build yet, but I just noticed this issue. Did a search and saw you had it too. I don't get a crash, though, just a "Video recording has failed" message.

Installed 9.39.5.0 with dev build 32. Works well, but I am getting a snapprefs fc when trying to change lens collector/loader settings, and SnapChat not fc exactly, but screen will go black and app will close. Thoughts?

Has everyone checked the permission to draw on top of other apps? That might be why it won't work on MM, but I haven't investigated.

Delete the apk from your system\app folder, then you can download normal Facebook from play store after reboot
