I just got the february patch update, so I guess that means Android 10 won't arrive before march.

It also works for me, but only when wifi is connected. When I disable wifi, Netmonster says I'm connected to only one band, I think that's why I never see the 4G+ sign in the status bar.

I rooted and tried to enable interband carrier aggregation using this guide. Everything seemed to work fine, but I still don't get 4G+. Anybody was successful with this, maybe following a different procedure?

Latest build included lots of kernel changes related to power management. It seems that caused the backlight issue during off charge, but that will be fixed in next build, see this commit.

Resurrection Remix uses LineageOS repositories for v500, so if the issue is not there, maybe it's not device specific. Try this and let us know if that works. Otherwise, you could also try towelroot.

Does anybody else have this issue? I cannot reproduce it. BTW, System_Dilemma, is it you who opened a jira bug report on this?

This is not "my rom". I just port LineageOS to this device, so these settings/features do not depend on me.

Your problem is the bootloader. Anyway, this matter belongs to the twrp thread, where you can find information on how to install kitkat bootloader if you are on lollipop.

Please, test the zips (attached to this post) to see if any of them fixes the issue. Flash from recovery (one at a time) and reboot. Test in ascending order, if one works you don't need to test the next ones. Thanks for your help. I want to know what's the exact fix and not submit unneeded...

I think only some of you have this bug, I cannot reproduce it. There is a possible fix in gerrit (since January), but nobody helped with tests, so it was never submitted. If any of you is willing to help (instead of just laughing about it), let me know and we will get it fixed quite easily.

Thanks for the tip. I just checked selinux denials on latest build and there is one preventing it from booting. I already merged the fix (without net_raw which is not needed). It will be fixed for next build. Until then (and just as a workaround) you could manually flash this boot.img right...

The wifi fix zip is not needed, that change was included in official repos right after I got confirmation from users. Did you go the KDZ route? You could just boot into recovery with the key combo and flash again the boot.img. What gapps did you install? Done...

There must be some backup mechanism for the boot.img which is causing this issue to some of you. The boot.img in lineage builds is definitely bumped. Did you check if there is a compressed file (zip, tar.gz, ...) in /data/ which has a boot.img in it? Maybe deleting that file solves the issue for...

This would be needed after every reboot. It's a way to test different wifi regions without editing files and having to reboot. The problem is we cannot set the wifi region from cm settings, and the same settings don't work as good for every user. What is "perfect" for you may not be working...

I provided a possible solution in post 279. Until cm-14.1 includes the option to select the wifi region, you have to set it manually (only if you have issues).

There is no development for v510 afaik, I guess very few users had it. It would've been possible to share a common repository for v500, v510 and vk810, even the same kernel, but efforts were not coordinated at the beginning and now it's not worth it. Thanks, but I don't have a donation button...

I just merged a couple of important commits related to wifi: updated prima drivers in the kernel, updated wcnss bin file and some important changes in wcnss config file. Please, test again with next nightly and let us know how it is.

Tethering should be working in today's nightly.

Next build will have important changes related to cpu (ondemand governor), powerhal and mpdecision. We'll also get power profiles (in settings > battery), which we didn't have until now. Please report back if you think that performance or battery life got worse (or better).

Ok, so keep that recovery, it's the same as latest oficial 3.0.2-1 but with the touchscreen fixed. Next cm-14.1 nightly will have the issue solved too, and I will also fix official twrp so you can install next build (once it's ready, it may take a while).
