IMHO and experience, avoid the Redmi Note 9 S/Pro/etc (aka Curtana/Joyeuse/Excalibur/etc). No LineageOS official support, and the unofficial ones come and go every few months and all have bugs. The Redmi Note 7 aka lavender, OTOH, has pretty decent hardware and has official LineageOS. Rooting...

You should try and get logs, and then post them. It's the only way the developers will be able to track down and fix this or any other issue.
