Face unlock has been disabled because of security concerns. Built in gcam works very well, but you have to set hardware level to full (and you should probably also install Google Photos). Lineage recovery will be replaced with TWRP after first install, if you haven't flashed lineage recovery...

Very strange. Make sure that you've been on the latest OOS at least once before flashing LOS, and don't forget to run the copy partitions script 👍

If you've ever been on the latest OOS before coming to LOS then you should be fine regarding firmware. Let me know if the crashes persists after a clean install 👍

I think a clean install may be in order. I'm quite addicted to music, and even during long (10+ hour) flights and car rides I have yet to experience this. Mostly using LDAC & aptx hd, not sure if other codecs are more prone to issues. Let me know how your device behaves after the next update (y)(y)

You could test with "fastboot oem unlock-go", as this bypasses the prompt. Not sure if OP hasit implemented though.

In theory you should be able to since you can boot to fastboot via adb. Haven't tested it though. Good luck 🤞

PMOS (alpine) has been running kernel 5 on sdm845 for years, been borrowing a lot of code from them. Only issue atm seems to be related to radio/making calls. Patching the kernel for nethunter support won't break any features, and won't affect your user experience in the slightest? I don't...
