Nah man, there are 2 deep test apps, one for Chinese and one for global, it does not work only for Indian region. The global one works for all regions of a global device.

I have had a bunch of Xiaomi phones and had mess around with then a lot, never in my life I had to pay anything. The mi flash tool always revived my devices.

maybe not, but trying to flash anything can brick it....and I was never able to put my realme in EDL with buttons for some reason, only works with test points for me. I lost weeks messing with that stuff and now I have a working device and have no intention of changing that lol
