A bit inaccurate. It is not capable of playing 720p video without hardware acceleration. Actually, the hardware is capable of playing AND recording 720p video. We just can't use it because we don't have the software.

Sometimes two pieces of WiFi hardware are not not compatible with each other. This may be the case here. If it is, you can do nothing against it, except for trying to find different firmware for your router that woks with the HD2.

Just FYI: I took a picture with my old HTC Polaris today, and it has the pink tint as well. It's more noticeable on the Polaris than on the HD2 with the fix. However, I never noticed it before, when I was using the Polaris, so I think the HD2 with the fix is perfectly fine.
