Post [GUIDE]How to install Bromite SystemWebView without Magisk (Android 12+ included)

I had been looking for a non-Magisk way of getting Bromite WebView onto some of my ROMs after the package name change. I just tried this on a crDroid Oreo ROM on a Moto G5s Plus. Method 1 didn't work. Flashed without error but apk didn't get placed. Method 2 worked out great. Bromite WebView...

    Post [11][OFFICIAL] CarbonROM | cr-9.0 [kebab]

After updating to the latest build, microG has lost SMS and background location permissions. Tried to force them on using App Manager but they revert. Quite a few things came down from OOS in this build and wonder if latest security patches are the reason. Just want to confirm if it's just a me...

    Post [MODULE/SYSTEM] NanoDroid 23.1.2.20210117 (microG, pseudo-debloat, F-Droid + apps)

Actually, the updates do continue to be offered via F-Droid BUT going by the description, it may now be just the vanilla Chromium version. [screenshot] Given that none of my older ROMs run Magisk (a root method I never cared for) I'll just continue on with the provided updates. On newer Android...

Post [PIE] [9.0] [Nougat - Pie] OmniSwitch Flashable Zip - Universal

Yeah, I'm kind of bummed out. I mentioned it works great on crDroid but when I went to CarbonROM I had no such luck. Despite the inclusion of the permissions file, App Manager shows that some of the necessary permissions have been "revoked". Oh how I dislike modern Android. 😑

    Post [RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] OrangeFox Recovery Project [OnePlus 8t / 9r] [02-FEB-2023]

Just wanted to say, very nice recovery. Working fine on my KB2007 kona (T-Mobile, switched to Euro firmware and thus, kebab). Was on crDroid, decided to go back to Carbon, going back to stock first. OrangeFox failed to flash the OOS OTA zip for some reason. Used regular TWRP to flash it. After...

Ah, yes. That is exactly what's going on. Once I removed all the USB drive bookmarks it was as you said. One of the bookmarks was from when using the OTG driver (usb://...). As soon as I removed that one it triggered Storage Settings immediately.

Thought it was just me. Also annoyed as heck by this behavior. I have MiXplorer on several devices and Android versions (7, 9, 11) and found the annoying behavior only happens on my OnePlus 8T device (currently running crDroid Android 11). Doesn't seem to be an Android version issue as this...

The kernel manager, SmartPack, isn't being used for anything. Forgot i said no tweaks? No tweaks, no changes, no nothing.
