No it won't mess up. If you're doing the non-root method it'll reset the launcher without any consequences. If you're doing the root method, it'll show a launcher memory error (which is normal) so the process is the same whether it's clearing the cache with and without root but preferably would...

This works on the Fire TV Stick Lite (sheldon) on firmware version 7.2.7.3 (PS7273/2622)! It's much snappier and faster! Definitely worth adding these build tweaks

Does the pm disable-user com.amazon.device.software.ota still work? On my other post Amazon by now blocks any undoing to the system which involves blocking shell commands. Keep note that blocking updates is now or never and 6.2.8.9 is continuing to restrict the control you have over your device.

Ok @Ighor this will be really difficult to find the image for when I tried to look for it before and it's Fire OS version 6.2.8.0/3233 so what may have to happen is the downgrading within each firmware to see if it catches the links without attempting to install 6.2.8.1/4061 up until 6.2.8.7/3768

That's so weird isn't it? According to my configuration I have 5 ghz on channel 48 and it's causing this bug. So channel 100 doesn't cause that issue on your end? I'm really hoping Lineage can look into this and fix this as I've stated in my forums last year.
