1. give the ROM the time needed to settle down and then check battery drain once more [2-3 days are good enough] 2. if you won't find major reasons to have this ROM and you felt better on OOS, you can switch back or try another

same topic than other custom firmwares: it's always best to try it for yourself, then esteem the difference between OOS and all the work you may find here. it's already pointed out that stability and battery drain are excellent, what are you waiting for to flash?

I know.. but I couldn't find a QFIL package of ZUI 3.5 to flash.. so I tried with 2.5 and it did work, even if I don't know how/why. weird thing is that I don't have a baseband row into phone settings.. :confused:

clean flash or update? none of the above issues are present here on my side - clean flash with internal storage wipe.

workaround is to install a custom kernel manager app like Franco Kernel Manager or EX Kernel Manager and customize brightness level like you can see in the screenshot attached to this post.

yup. FK Manager or EX kernel manager seem to be quite the same on this.. I first tried kernel adiutor by Grarak [I know him since the good ol' days on the OP2 threads], but I've found the app has been discontinued! so sorry to know that :(

tried Dimly but wasn't 100% satisfied with it. custom minimum brightness didn't work on system settings app, for example, and I didn't know why. I managed to increase a 5% on minimum system value just by editing toggle via FK manager [see screenshot added]. and yes, I'm rooted!

read OP, instruction section, third row: Flash OOS 10.3.0 or above. it seems quite clear you have to flash the stable branch OOS .zip

even on OOS, I always used this app. killer feature even FNATIC mode did not have: set a custom brightness when game is launched. pro version is required.
