I don't know about Note 9 Pro, but mine is Note 8 which has tianma panel. I've been using it for 6 months. 15% brightness indoor and 75% brightness outdoor but I spend most of the time indoor. I can tell you, there is a slight ghosting on my screen now.

I'm not talking about fast charge. I'm talking about the HEAT. And HEAT is the real enemy of battery and any other electric device. You might be not experience that, but not in my country which is easy to reach 45°C while using 18W on 35°C of room temperature.

Note 8 is definitely looks better, but heavier than Redmi 8. For the screen, idk. My eyes can't tell the difference, but 1080p should be better.

Agree. 18W charger only make the battery getting more heat, which is bad for battery. I only use 18W charger if I'm in a rush. Now I'm thinking to get myself a Blackshark funcooler and see if it able to reduce battery temperature while on fast charging.

Depends on your preference. If you prefer performance and camera, get a Note 8. If you don't care about performance, only use it for social media, chatting, and stuff like that, go for Redmi 8.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that. The TWRP 3.3.1 from the link is only work on LOS 16.0. If you flash another ROM with TWRP 3.3.1, the TWRP will break. In other word, you must flash the correct TWRP for the ROM. Also, in the past, there is a specific TWRP for Z3 dual but the link is dead.

I'm afraid not. Unfortunately, the patch that I gave you may only work on Xperia XZ (at least), even the thread marked as "universal". The only thing you can do is asking someone on this forum, or PM someone to make a dualsim patch for Z3 pie ROM.

Well, since I'm not a developer, the only solution I could give you is my previous statement. I try to flash twrp only but failed. Then I extract the boot.img, flash it to boot partition, flash the twrp to FOTAKernel, flash the rom and... Voila! No more problem.

The thing is... If you come from a custom rom, especially carbon rom, you need to flash boot.img first via fastboot, then you can flash the recommended TWRP.

Finally, DTS Headphone: X is working on my Xperia Z3, LOS 16. But the UI can't adapt to my screen size. I need to make the screen size smaller. The rest is good.
