It happened to me as well only 2 or 3 times so far. I only goit it going by hard reset. So you're not alone. Another issue is that each time I open a game the screen goes black. I have to get to home screen and switch back to be able to see what's on the screen. It's a nuisance

Yes I use oreo recents. But with experimental It doesn't matter much. It's a bit annoying with this issue but the charging one is far more important to me
