How do you release the phone on this one? I can see it says "touch" near the bottom but my concern is that that's near where you would swipe up to go home and you may accidentally touch that part and release the phone when you don't want to.

Just updated to magisk canary 24308 (via patching the boot.img and flashing in bootloader) on the May security update and everything seems to be working fine for anyone wondering.

ahh i see, so I simply just reboot after going into safe mode. Did that and re-enabled my modules once back into normal mode and now got everything working, thanks for the help!

same here, I can install the march update perfectly fine and boot up, but it boot loops after manually installing the magisk_patched.img

did you also manually flash magisk_patched.img after? if so, what version of magisk did you use?

which version of magisk did you use? 24300? 24304? I am able get mine to boot after installing the march update but when I manually flash the magisk_patch.img it gets stuck in a boot loop, so hopefully it's just due to the version of magisk I am using

Just wanted to add that I have this issue as well. The "Hide the Magisk app" option in the magisk app settings is grayed out.

Just used the new magisk apk and updated to the Dec. security patch. Everything is working as before: have root, pass safety net(with USNF 2.2), V4A working. The only problem I have is that the "Hide the Magisk app" in the magisk app settings is grayed out? I can't select it at all. Anyone know why?

Then you're doing something wrong. Plenty people on here have successfully rooted and passed safetynet using this method. Don't blame others for your own mistakes. Oh and saying "mr china" is really immature.

hmm that's odd, none of my presets are there. I know for sure I have presets since the settings change when I connect my pixel buds.

Do you know if this mount will stay on for a little bit after you turn off your car? Some phone mounts have this feature where a capacitor will hold a charge for about 30 seconds after you turn off your car so that you can still open up the clamps to grab your phone.

Getting the same issue, although I am using a Pixel 5 not a 4 XL. It was working fine for me before though lol.
