if you see 900E instead of 9008, that means your phone is NOT in EDL mode anymore. Hold power & Vol+ for 10 secs to turn the phone off and that - hold VOL + & -. Most probably, your phone is switching off the EDL mode by itself. if that's the case, WIN+X and delete Qualcomm QDLoader 9008 device...

I tried Swift quite some time in the past. Now I don't remember what I did not like, but at that time I came back to TB. Looks like no further development is going on, but TB is still a solid choice. Still working, no issues on A10, both OOS and custom ROMs. I'm sure it will work on A11 as well.

Make yourself a favor and get "Hash Droid" or similar app to verify your download beforehand. That saves a lot of hassle and time. Upgrading from 8.5.9. - I would suggest to do a clean flash.

It really depends. Pretty often devs releasing couple of builds for testing (calling them xxx-TESTING) prior to release the build for public (calling them xxx-FINAL). So, FINAL might mean - released for public. That simple. That's why I'm saying that communication is a key. I'll ask this...

Try to allow to use the 3rd party gallery app first in GCam settings. That resolves lots of issues.

Install BBS and check what's going on. In my case, I had to turn off "wake on charge" and that brought everything back to normal. But your mileage might vary.
