Post TaiChi:Using Xposed modules with/without Root/Unlock bootloader on Android 5.0~10.0

In fact, I’ve been tangled for a long time whether to open source the TaiChi. Whether it's TaiChi or Xposed-Framework, they are so powerful that it's hard to believe its security if it's not open source. But there are some reasons for me to not open source it now: 1. TaiChi is a framework, it...

Hi, I am the author of VirtualXposed: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/virtualxposed-xposed-root-unlock-t3760313 VirtualXposed can run some Xposed modules on Non-Root devices without needing to unlock the bootloader or flash any sysytem images, but it can not act on system processes...

VirtualXposed = VirtualApp + epic , it make the target app(such as YouTube) run in VirtualApp(and VirtualApp runs in system) , then make hooks in VirtualApp and loads the Xposed modules. EXposed/TaiChi = Modified apk + epic, it modified the target apk and install it in system directly. The...

For commercial/internal usage, it is a better choice than VirtualXposed. (Many organizations use the free and open-source VirtualXposed, and i maintain it for free but get few donations. EXposed/TaiChi is free for ordinary users.

    Post VirtualXposed Analysis/Module Development Thread

EXposed/TaiChi is created by me, and i won't make it open-source. VirtualXposed is open-source, but there are still so many people think it is dangerous. Open-source can not give me any revenue.

Post VirtualXposed: Use Xposed without root, unlock the bootloader or modify system image.

This is a good idea, but i have done it in another way :) Some apps start their works in Appliaction.attachBaseContext, this is earlier than Application.onCreate, hooks before onCreate would be never take effect.

I fix this by shortcut: you can create a shortcut of apps in VirtualXposed on system's default launcher, when you click the shortcut, it launch the inner app directly, without needing launch VirtualXposed first. But the wrapper idea is great! It can fix some other issue, such as share and pay...

Post VirtualXposed: Use Xposed without root, unlock the bootloader or modify system image.

Yes, we can modify the LoadedApk and load epic to do Xposed hooks, this needs to modify Android, too. But it is easier than modify libart.so and app_process. It is feasible to add support for x86, but i am not familiar with x86 assembly :(

Post VirtualXposed: Use Xposed without root, unlock the bootloader or modify system image.

I write a java method hook library : https://github.com/tiann/epic, it modifies the AOT code generated by Android Runtime(inline hook), this library can hook functions like Xposed( but the implementation is different). but epic only take effect in app's process itself, it can not inject into...

I intergrated Xposed Installer to VirtualXposed, but Xposed Installer != Xposed. Logically speaking, you are right. But i do not agree with it.
