Had the same issue, fixed with USNF MOD update. Didn't want to clear data in wallet and redo all the cards so left it, 3 days later wallet working perfectly. So if like me you are a lazy SOB then update and wait...if you have the patience! :cool:

Yep had this since I can remember, usually a tap on the screen will bring it to life but it can be slightly annoying. You are not alone. :-)

Sorry to hear about this, I know how frustrating this is. This issue did not go away for me, had ongoing issues, Ended up having to contact google support and they replaced the phone, haven't gone back to esim since. Good luck.

Update: Went to Telstra got a replacement physical sim and phone is back to working as it should...no more esim's for me. I hope this helps someone else.

Quick update now when I open GPay it all works as it should, no more greyed out logo and the "phone doesn't" message is gone.

I had the same problem, had used adaway and blocked some dns requests, cleared these and Hey Google worked again. Cheers.

It works! Happy Days. Even though I have the message "phone doesn't meet security etc" and the logo is greyed out it works. I think as long as you can register your card and pass the safety net you should be good to go.

I have seen a huge improvement in A5, went from like 60-80 down and up's of 20-30 to now around 280-320 ups to 50-80 downs. Not as good as my 5G home but lots better than it was.

Hoping someone can help. New phone, did the inital setup, developer mode, OEM unlock etc etc. All fine until I got to this stage "fastboot flash vbmeta --disable-verity --disable-verification <drag and drop vbmeta.img>" It seemed to flash ok but at the end it had the following error message...

Fixed, reflashed 11 and all back working again, hope it helps someone else.

So the "not set up" message relates to the Your phone doesn't meet security requirements under the Contactless setup in the google pay app...aaarrrgggg.

Was safety net working before the flash?
