Post [How To] Bypass Lloyds and Santander Root Detection

OK, I will try that. The only "problem" is that I decided to be a bit forensic and document each app at each stage of install. e.g. Stock crDroid crDroid + Magisk crDroid + Magisk + app on the denylist crDroid + Magisk + app on the deny list + Magisk hidden So, I uninstalled everything...

Post [How To] Bypass Lloyds and Santander Root Detection

Seems I spoke too soon. Santander is now working, but Freetrade and Google Wallet are refusing to work having detected unlocked/rooted/something... I've tried hiding the two apps in Magisk, then freezing it, but that doesn't seem to work - still not working.

Thread Question Implications of switching boot slot

Last night I clicked the "update crDroid" button - intrigued by a custom ROM with OTA updates. This morning it had downloaded and I absent-mindedly clicked "install" An hour later it asked for a reboot and once clicked I got, in retrospect, the inevitable failure to boot. It just got to the...

Post [How To] Bypass Lloyds and Santander Root Detection

Ahh, had to enable zygisk and enforce the deny list... So often these guides miss soon crucial step! But, seem to be there now! Just hope adding all of these things hasn't actually comprised my phone! Thanks John

Post [How To] Bypass Lloyds and Santander Root Detection

@johnr64 , tried this, but stuck on one thing. i can't see an option in Magisk to hide anything but itself? That said, I haven't installed much else. I renamed it to Msettings by hiding it, then froze it. No tick boxes, I assume I'm looking in the wrong place?

Post [How To] Bypass Lloyds and Santander Root Detection

I'm totally baffled by this. POCO F3, flashed with TWRP and crDroid. Will run just about everything I have except Santander. Install Magisk, hide it, now Chase, Freetrade and others won't work either...

    Post Development [ROM][12.1][OFFICIAL][ALIOTH/ALIOTHIN] crDroid v8.13 [21.01.2023]

OK, so I think I've got over most of my install problems through reading... But I have one final one. I got everything except Android Auto running and to get that meant a wipe of Data. So, back to square one with device setup, so did a backup to Google Drive. Can anyone give me simple...

Post [Android 13] [GApps] NikGApps [ARM64]

Ahh, I just dug more, noticed another folder with addons that included Auto. But it can't be installed "Dirty", So I guess I'm back to square one on re-installing crDroid and starting from there...?

Post [Android 13] [GApps] NikGApps [ARM64]

OK, first of all, I just rooted and installed crDroid on my Poco F3 including NikGapps basic and it's all fantastic. Far faster, and seemingly more reliable than MIUI (especially for apps that need background connectivity and MIUI seems determined to kill in the name of battery). However, I...

Post Question Video stuttering with no audio in all apps after crDroid install

Nailed it. Installed 13.0.4 and it's working now. I'd actually also tried 13.0.7 which didn't work, just didn't go back far enough! Thanks.

Thread Question Video stuttering with no audio in all apps after crDroid install

After updating from stock to the latest crDroid, video is stuttering with no audio in all apps I've seen this a few times in other posts, and the suggestion is to flash firmware but I've tried that to no avail. I have: 1. Unlocked my Poco F3 after waiting for a week 2. Screwed up a bit...
