Most likely could be the version of magisk you have installed. If you can still boot to recovery, I'd suggest to try another version of magisk, and also remember to wipe cache and dalvik in recovery before reboot as this can help alot

I used DoomKernel a while ago, but now to me it feels outdated :) so I use Ckernel. But DoomLords Kernel is very stable and it may run on this version but I cannot say that I have tried it. but yes, as I am using a FXP base, an FXP based Kernel is needed :D
