I have Magisk up and running. Just download the APK file and rename it to ZIP then flash in TWRP. Easy peasy. Cheers for this great and smooth ROM.

I am having the same issue, looking into the matter a little deeper. Ill report back if I am able to decipher anything.

A quick update, I had to go through settings and update software that way, got to the CUJ build, and successfully flashed the ROM. I will report back after giving it a go...

To clarify I used Odin 3.14.4

I flashed the BTK1 firmware via Odin and now I no longer have TWRP recovery. Tried flashing 3.6 and a boot loop ensues. Any ideas? Thanks.

I was able to create Cheomeos image, and running via USB it was pretty flawless. Only problem is I forgot to install it over a chromium OS. So I buggered it up and now piecing things back together. Good job on the hard work making this happen for us none Chromebook owners. Cheers. :good:

One other issue I have encountered is the grub customizer is not working when I input the cmds. I was able to make a Cheomeos img though so it's progress.

I've checked and rechecked all aspects, and I appreciate the questions, because there are no silly questions, except the ones not asked. I've tried creating the image in Linux, through Windows (via Ubuntu) and making a directory inside Linux USB. It doesn't seem to work no matter how I try it...

Thanks for the info. I'll check there. I used the Linux mint method and created the folder and the IMG file but I could ever get it to install to disk. I tried various methods from the brunch page and no luck. Thanks though.

When I create the Chrome OS image in cmd line it doesn't give me a recovery image and I cannot trace the path to a location. It stores as individual files. How do I load that as an installable image on a USB? Thanks.

Mine errors and says path to Cheomeos can't be found. Strange since it's in the file I'm running in a terminal. It's quite screwy, Fyde OS is looking like the greener grass from over here. :laugh:

I was able to install FydeOS and it ran ok, some bugs and quirks made it dodgy. I have tried to install Brunch and it doesn't seem to want to work. Or my ineptitude is impairing my success. I can't seem to get all cylinders to fire at once. Still experimenting.

The hard drive of a windows laptop. Linux cmds aren't my strong suit. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Tried to run those scripts and it didn't work out. Not sure why. It installed pv and cgpt, but still won't install Chrome. Any ideas why? I have a screenshot I'll post.

I have created the USB with Linux Mint, and the Chrome OS folder with the designated files. When I boot into the USB, locate the Chrome OS file open in terminal and type sudo sh install.sh it errors out. I will try to post a screenshot of the results when I can. Thanks.

I'm not sure where things are going wrong, it should be straight forward to install to HDD. I will be glad to try to help wherever I can though.

I Love the setup of Fyde OS and this guide takes it to the next level. I have it fully working, with sync, PlayStore, apps and all. Only improvement I can foresee is somehow getting rid of the built in home. Anybody have any ideas how to bypass it? I'm searching.
